Anonymous asked: I was wondering if you could give your tips for straightening your hair? I have thick wavy-ish hair and it's really hard to get the perfect, shiny, super straight hair. Oh and also what kind of straightener would you recommend? Thanks! I love your blog(:

Okay so what you should probably do is separate your hair into two sections and pin the top one up, and straighten your bottom slowly in about one inch sections. When you’re done that, separate the top section into another two and straighten the bottom one same as before. Then do the top one and then you’ll be done. Try throwing the hair you’re done straightening back behind your head so that it’s easier. As for the straightener, any professional one will do! Like Chi, GHD, KQC, etc. I own a Corioliss one and it works perfectly. I hope this helps!

And thank you <3

robertsaget asked: I've had side bangs for the longest time and I'm getting sick of them. I have long curly/wavy hair and an oval like face shape. Any bang types you recommend? thanks!

Oval face shapes can generally work any type of fringe! Maybe try a straight across one? It would look so cute with your curly/wavy hair! :D

dizzypup asked: HAHAHA. No-poo is not using shampoo. Some people use either organic alternatives or some people just use a sulfate-free conditioner. It actually doesn't EVER make your hair feel like straw, actually for a week or so your hair is extra oily (because your hair has to produce a BUTTLOAD of oils since you're stripping it so much with shampoo). There are lots of resources on the internet about it (:.

Oooh! Haha :P I’ve heard that it can take a while for hair to get used to the no shampoo thing though! Anyway, thank you for your input :D

manifestfuckery asked: hahaha, she meant no shampoo! I don't shampoo my hair because its thick and curly. i condition it though and i don't ever ever ever shampoo it with sulfate shampoo

Oh! Hahaha :P How does that work though? Doesn’t your hair get dirty?

k-arma-police asked: Hi :) I want to ombre my hair. I have brown/auburny hair (I've been dying my hair for about 3 years, but I haven't dyed it for 4-6 months). I was too scared to just bleach it so I bought a light brown/caramel blonde dye and dyed the tips Friday but it didn't catch. When would you recommend I bleach the tips? Any tips on ombre-ing your hair yourself? Thanks!

Hmm, I’m not really sure how long you should wait! It depends on how quickly the dye leaves your hair. So as soon as you feel like a lot of the color is gone then do it! Maybe a month? I dunno :c Here’s a tutorial for ombre-ing your hair!

Anonymous asked: Soo, i had my friend ombre my hair a week or two ago, and I like it. I'm used to it now, haha. But my ends feel so dry after making them blonde. Do you know of any products that will make my hair look less dry and more soft again? Thank you!

Macadamia oil or Moroccan oil (or any other oil, doesn’t really matter), hair masks like the Macadamia mask which everyone seems to love, and that’s all I can think of. Sorry, I don’t really know about too many products since I barely ever use anything special!

hebrewhernia asked: Have you guys heard of the no-poo thing? Also, if your followers do it, does your hair feel like straw? Also followers; if you no-poo, do you know of any alternatives to Apple Cider vinegar?

The what!?

Haha is that some sort of product? What a strange name :P

I’ll leave this to the followers since it seems like they would know more about this than me!

Anonymous asked: So I have medium length hair. It reaches to my shoulder blades. I'm not really sure what kind of cut I want. All I know is that I want to grow my hair out. Would it be smart to get layers if I want to style it more? All my friends tell me that layers don't let you style things. And since I have a rounder head, should I get bangs?

Side bangs or no bangs are recommended for your face shape but try to stay away from the straight across ones! I think layers are great for styling. I dunno what your friends are talking about! Maybe they mean it’s a pain in the butt, which it kind of is sometimes but that doesn’t mean it isn’t good. I’d say try it! :)

tempt-tati0n asked: hi I've wanted for ages to dye my hair a 'crazy' or pastel colour but I have no idea what colour to do it. So I was wondering if you could maybe look at the pics on my blog (in the drop down menu) and what colour you think would look good? :) thank you

Pastel purple would look cute I think! Or bright purple :) Yeah, I think those would look really nice. Hope this helps!

shmegbroon asked: ive got long lightish brown hair and want to dip dye the ends of my hair either lilac or purple.. but dont know what's the best was to do it?

Bleach your tips first to a light blonde, and then if you want lilac you mix the purple dye with conditioner and apply it for 15-30 minutes. If you want purple then just apply that without mixing it. That’s pretty much it!

Anonymous asked: i'm torn about changing my hair color. atm it is red and i love it, but i've had it for awhile and i like to change things a lot. i've thought about going back to my natural hair, brown. but i don't know if i want just my hair one color. my hair is really short, like Vanessa Hudgens' short hair. what do you think i should do with my hair?

Maybe go back to brown and try making the tips of your bangs or the whole bangs blonde? I think that would look cool! :)
