juunemaayblaaah asked: to the anonymous with the curling hair problem, try using a curling wand. those curls last a LONG time, without hair spray. i have virgin hair and its the only type of appliance that has given me the cutest longest lasting curls, with others they looked bad and/or lasted for only 30 min. i havent washed my hair and ive slept with my curls and theyre still as curly

Thank you! I forgot about that, those work pretty well for me too. :)

antique-owls asked: Seeing as everyone is asking questions, I'll join the band wagon :p For you and anyone following this blog, I currently have fairly darkish brown hair, with a slight red/warm tinge to it from previously being bright red. I'm wanting to go a funky dark turquoise with using a fudge like Grenade or something similar to Manic Panic etc. Do you or anyone know that would a fudge come up very we over my existing colour or would some lightening need to be done? Thank ya :D

It’s a happy wagon! Pulled by unicorns :D

I think it would probably be best to lighten it just a little bit. If you dye over top of your current hair it will barely even be noticeable.

If anyone has some other advice please leave it in the ask box! :)

Anonymous asked: My hair is naturally straight and really silky. I wash it everyday and I know I shouldn't but I do. Even if I don't wash it, it's not oily so I have problems getting curls to stay. Any tips?

I think it would work if you used rollers, or hot rollers and then hairspray your after with some REALLY strong hairspray! I really don’t know how else to help since I’m kind of a noob at curling hair in general D: But I hope this helps!

Anonymous asked: I'd think you'd have to rebleach otherwise you'd keep redying over a faded color and it wouldn't come out right. maybe wait a while and use some damage therapy shampoo before trying again.

Thank you! :D

Anonymous asked: @anon, you wouldn't have to rebleach at all. It'd be pointless and cause more damage. Try using Ion Brights from Sally's and dilute it with water or if uoy wany a pastel pink mix it with water and conditioner. Make sure you wash with cold water to keep the color longer.

Thank you! <3<3

hityou asked: to touch up pink hair you usually dont have to bleach it. you should take steps to save it though. shower in cold water (or wash your hair in cold water) and wash it as little as possible. I suggest getting a rinse and then putting in one of those glosser things to make it shiny. then in a bit, but in a color retoucher. If you put a little hairdye into your conditioner, itll help a bit, too. I hope this was too jambled, but I've had the same issue with m old pink hair

Thank you! That is very helpful. <3

muurrshell-deactivated20121209 asked: For the person asking about the Pink ombre hair, You would not have to bleach it again nor dye it with blonde, you can buy a hot pink dye and dilute it with conditioner or salon care brand developer preferably conditioner so it's not as damaging to the end of your hair. Just add conditioner to the pink and mix it until it's the desired pink.

Awesome! :D Thank you so much!

How many times do I have to go over this…

“I’m not Google and I’m not a hair dresser. Please only ask if you really don’t know/ need advice.”

You (the followers) ask me things at your own risk. I will happily give advice but I’m obviously not a pro and I obviously don’t know all the answers. Having said that, I’m not going to stop giving advice just because I’m not willing to spend all my free time learning about technical things about hair. Not to mention there’s a cool little thing called Google which answers everything a million times better than I will ever be able to.

Your ask is completely unnecessary. Stop.

l0secuntrol asked: my hair is naturally like jet black, and ive never died it but i want to SO BADLY. but everyone says id be stupid is if do? should i do it or nah?

Depends on what color you want to dye it! If you’re talking about black then yeah it’d be pretty pointless haha. But if you’re thinking some lighter color like light brown then that would be cool! :)

Anonymous asked: I recently got my hair dyed at a salon, sort of ombre hot pink and brown (my natural hair color). It was really pretty for like the first week but then it faded into a weird orange color. I tried redying it but the pink looked more red. I was wondering if I had to re-bleach it? Would that damage my hair even more? Or is there another way to make the pink noticeable again? And if I decided to make it blonde ombre would buying blonde hair dye work? Or would I still need to re-bleach it?

I’m actually not 100% sure and I was wondering the same thing myself D: But yes, bleaching would damage it even more. Blonde dye would not work; you would need to bleach it again.

Followers: When you touch up a hair color like pink, do you have to bleach it again in order for the color to show up like it did the first time or can you just dye on top of it? In other words, is bleaching necessary?

Anonymous asked: i have naturally dark blonde hair but a few weeks ago i dyed it light blonde. then i dip dyed the end of my hair black. now my roots grow out and i think it looks weird. do you think i should dye my roots light blonde or my whole hair in my natural colour? i want to keep the lighter blonde, but my hair is veeeeeeery damaged, so i tend to dye it dark blonde. Because of my black ends... will i have to bleach them? Besides, i love your blog and sorry for my very bad english. :D <33

I think since your hair is really damaged, it might be best to just dye the whole thing your natural color! Also, have you thought of dying it like a dark brown or black? :) It might look cool and you won’t have to bleach your ends! But yeah I think if you want to keep the light blonde it might look weird because your roots will grow out and you’ll always have three “layers” of color in your hair! :P I hope this helps, and thank you! <3 Your English is good, don’t worry!

Anonymous asked: hi, you seem like the best person to ask this so here goes. my hair is naturally a dark brown and i was stupid and bleached it some of it, not using a toner after, seeing as it was my first time and i had no clue as to what i was doing. it came out almost copper or kinda orange-ish. and i wanna dye my hair red, if i bleach the rest of my hair, would the red come out alright? or would it not because the rest of my hair is kinda copper looking?

I think having copper hair is perfect for red, since red also has orange tones in it. My hair was copper-ish blonde before I dyed it red and it turned out perfect so I think you’ll have no problem :)

Anonymous asked: I have naturally light brown hair and I really wanted to go red but I thought maybe it was to much, do you thing like red highlights would look good? :) It would be that dye that goes away after 3 weeks or so. What do you think? But I have also been thinking if I should do more blonde highlights because my hair goes naturally to the more light side. So what do you think I should get? :) Thank you!

I’m personally not a huge fan of red highlights but some other people really love it so it’s really up to you! But since you’re asking me I would probably think that blonde highlights look better :)

whatmakesalady-deactivated20130 asked: You should look up the curly girl method! I rarely ever use shampoo, because it's not good for curly hair! Conditioner has all the same cleaning capabilities as shampoo does :)

I didn’t know that! :O Thanks for telling me, I’ll look it up!

Anonymous asked: advice please! i used to have virgin medium brown hair. then i dyed it to a strong red which has faded to a light auburn orangy-brown kind of thing. i have not dyed it in about 3 months. i want to do ombre so i dont have to dye all my hair but it still looks creative. i want my natural at top, then to caramel brown, then bleach my tips. would this fade? and what would it fade to?

I doubt that it would! Maybe the brown would fade a tiny bit but it most likely will keep its color. :) The blonde definitely will not!
