Anonymous asked: I recently got my hair dyed at a salon, sort of ombre hot pink and brown (my natural hair color). It was really pretty for like the first week but then it faded into a weird orange color. I tried redying it but the pink looked more red. I was wondering if I had to re-bleach it? Would that damage my hair even more? Or is there another way to make the pink noticeable again? And if I decided to make it blonde ombre would buying blonde hair dye work? Or would I still need to re-bleach it?

I’m actually not 100% sure and I was wondering the same thing myself D: But yes, bleaching would damage it even more. Blonde dye would not work; you would need to bleach it again.

Followers: When you touch up a hair color like pink, do you have to bleach it again in order for the color to show up like it did the first time or can you just dye on top of it? In other words, is bleaching necessary?
