Anonymous asked: Hi! Got any advice how to style my bangs? I have a pretty thin hair so my bangs are quite hard to style and when the wind or whatever else comes, they're all over the place, ruining my style and making my hair look dirty. I have considered half moon bangs, could they look good even though I have thin hair? Also, I wanted to suggest if you'd put some hair tutorials on the blog along the...

bramare asked: do you have any recommendations for getting colorful dye (pink and turquoise) to stay longer? the color usually loses vibrancy after one wash and is pretty faint after two. how much heat should I be using, and are there any other methods? I've been using Beyond the Zone semi-permanent color from Sally's Beauty. thank you in advance, love this blog!! :)

dustbymonday asked: Just a note to your followers, if you are dying your hair a not natural/vibrant colour and your hair is not light blonde, you are going to have to bleach it. There is no way around it. Sorry, just got tired of seeing the same question on my dash all the time :)

Anonymous asked: Do you always have to bleach your hair before you add a different color. Like I have naturally brown hair, but I want to dye it aqua blue. Do i need to bleach it first?

Anonymous asked: in your opinion, how would it look if I dyed my medium/dark brown shoulder length hair a lighter brown on the bottom? kind of like how girls will dye the bottom layer underneath their hair blonde or pink or something?

Quick question?
I bleached my roots yesterday. Would it be bad if I applied the hair dye (Manic Panic) today? Will it make my roots overly pigmented since my hair folicles are sensitive right now or something? I feel like I ask the stupidest questions ;~; but I just want to double check! Anyway, thank you in advance for the replies <3 - Ena (I’m supposed to know this stuff.. I own a hair blog.. I am a...

funwithmultiplicity asked: Ah, me again O.o I swear I'll stop but I found out accidentally that Head & Shoulders is pretty good for stripping out color. For me it was a bad thing, might help out in that case though.

funwithmultiplicity asked: Toner is good for leeching orange-y tones out of hair to dye it a light pink. I'd bleach first, rinse, let hair rest, use the toner, then probably wait until the next day before dyeing the hair pink, just to see how it is after it dries and whether or not it needs more bleach and toner. Friend and I inadvertently achieved a very bright pink dyeing Special Effects Burgundy Wine over hair that...
